Why are we different?
Jargon Free
We can speak ‘legal-ese’, but we you know you’d rather have agreements in English. We draft effective contracts/terms of sale/terms and conditions in plain English, making them shorter and easier to understand. From experience, we know that understandable agreements are more likely to be used.
Collaborative
We encourage our clients to adopt a more collaborative approach to creating contracts. This is refreshingly different to the usual ‘ping-pong’ approach, and reflects the fact that our clients want to record ‘agreements’ rather than waste time and money trying to score points. It’s also very successful – on one occasion we worked with 12 separate organisations and achieved a single document which was fair and reasonable to everyone from the outset!
Expertise you can rely on
30 years within blue-chip companies and Private Practice. That’s what you get from Annesley Business Consulting.
Director, Margaret Burrell, a former solicitor, has a pragmatic approach to drafting legal documentation. She combines this with a thorough understanding of business and a passion for structuring and simplifying sometimes complex commercial agreements.
Pragmatic, Commonsense Approach
Our aim is to ensure that legal documentation is tailored to meet the needs of your business – not the other way around. By visiting you, we get to know the issues you face as business and create perfectly tailored legal documentation, written just for you.
We write things from a business perspective and ensure our agreements are practical working documents. A good set of terms should be referred to on a regular basis, not locked away, misused or misunderstood.>

Approachable
Not sure what to do next? Why not give us a call.
We understand the problems you face. Our aim is to help you take the worry out of creating and using effective legal documentation.
Superb value
Not only do we provide a bespoke quality service, we also deliver outstanding value.
For shorter pieces of work we can offer you a fixed price quote. For more complex work, we charge by the hour or by the day. And, for those long term clients that have us on retainer, we have a lower rate.
We can be there from the start
Often clients only consult solicitors at the end of the negotiation process.
We can help you avoid certain pitfalls by being there right from the start. We know what the right questions are, and how best to ask them.
Involve us from the beginning and we can make the process easier and cheaper.
